Shelter House, a nonprofit in Fairfax County providing crisis intervention, safe housing and supportive services to promote self-sufficiency for homeless families and victims of domestic violence, is looking for generous individuals to donate Halloween costumes for the children in our programs.
Up to 100 children are living in our shelter and transitional housing programs at any given time, so it is crucial for us to engage them in opportunities to be a kid!
While encouraging families to save money, we also encourage kids to participate in a myriad of activities that give them creative outlet and build self-esteem. Halloween is the perfect time to dress to impress and your donation could make the difference!
Costumes of all sizes and all types are needed, as a variety of ages and sexes are represented. Drop-off is preferred, but some pick ups MAY be possible. Contact Victor for more details!
