The Virginia Railway Express is holding its annual Toys for Tots toy collection Wednesday on all morning trains.

Riders can bring a new, unwrapped toy and leave it at their seat when they get off the train on Dec. 8. All the toys will be collected from the trains at the mid-day storage yard and bring them to the U.S. Marine Corps' Reserve's Toys for Tots program. The toys will be given to children within the greater Washington area. Riders can also give gift cards or monetary donations, preferably in the form of checks made out to Toys for Tots.
