Sun Design Remodeling Specialists, Inc., of Burke was named one of the 70 Best Places to Work in Virginia for 2012.

Virginia Business Magazine included Sun Design on its list of 32 "small employers" -- those with 15 to 99 staff.  Sun Design employees 47 people.

According to the magazine, companies are judged on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The magazine also surveyed the opinions of staff members.

In 2011 Sun Design earned more than $7.5 million.  The company plans to open an office in McLean this year.
