Burke resident Stephanie Kane said her living room suffers "from clutter and gloominess." Designer Lisa Montague of Repose Interior Design offered solutions in the Washington Post.
Suggestions for the 13-by-22 space included:
- Paint the paneling;
- Add storage;
- Create a seating area;
- Hang floor-length curtain panels;
- Mount the television.
