Burke Teen Charged in String of Break-Ins
Nineteen-year-old and four juveniles participate in Alexandria crime spree.
Fairfax County detectives are charging 19-year-old Rachel Forbes of Burke along with four juveniles in a string of burglaries and attempted burglaries over the past few weeks, reported Fort Hunt Patch.
The charges include destruction of property, larceny and burglary.
Lucy Caldwell, Fairfax County Police Department spokesperson, said the five are believed to have been involved in four incidents:
- A Jan. 16 break-in at St Luke's Episcopal Church;
- A burglary at St. Louis Catholic Church;
- An attempted burglary at Hollin Hall Variety Store;
- An attempted burglary at Village Hardware.
