List of Roads Still Closed, Traffic Lights Out
Fairfax County released a district-by-district list as of noon Tuesday.
A sheared power pole, broken tree and downed power lines have Roberts Road closed between Braddock Road and Shenandoah River Lane. As a result, traffic lights at Braddock and Roberts Roads and Roberts Road and Commonwealth Blvd. were still out as of noon Tuesday, according to Fairfax County Government. Fairfax County released a list Tuesday of roads still closed due to storm damage from Friday's derecho. As of noon, these roads in the Burke and West Springfield areas remain closed:
- 900 Athens Road - Wires
- Clifton Road at High Ridge Street - Wires
- Commonwealth Boulevard at Roberts Road - Lights Out
- Braddock Road at Roberts Road - Lights Out
- Braddock Road at Guinea Road - Lights Out
