UPDATE Wednesday 8 a.m.:

Fairfax County Police have released more information about the stabbing Friday near Kings Park at the 10000 block of East Constable Court.

The adult male victim was walking near his home Friday night at 11:16 p.m. when two suspects got out of a car and demanded money from him. After the victim refused, he was stabbed in the upper body, police said.

There were apparently three suspects involved in the incident, according to police: a woman driver and two men.

The driver of the car is described as a black female, about 24 years old, wearing a tank top with a tattoo on her chest. One suspect is described as a short, skinny possibly Hispanic male, about 18 years old. A third suspect is described a a taller Hispanic male, with a medium build, also about 18 years old.

Although transported in life-threatening condition, the victim has been upgraded. The case still under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.

An adult male was reportedly stabbed in the Burke area near Kings Park Friday evening.

According to Eddy Azcarate, public information officer with the Fairfax County Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:16 p.m. in the 10000 block of East Constable Court.

The victim has been identified as an adult male, but his name has not been released. The man was stabbed in his upper body and later transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. His status was later downgraded at the hospital.

As of Monday afternoon, his status remains unchanged.

Due to the ongoing investigation, police have not released information as to the suspect (s) involved in the stabbing or what prompted the incident.
