Samuel is a golden retriever/chow mix estimated to be about two years old. He is wonderful with people and very friendly. When he first came to Mutt Love, he allowed a total stranger to comb out his matted coat, though it must have been painful for him. He rewarded his new friend with doggy kisses.

Darla is an 11-month-old wire-haired terrier of some sort with a playful, social personality. She has a strong personality and will need an owner who's willing to work with her and teach her right from wrong.
Nadia is an affectionate and friendly two-year-old sweetheart of an unknown breed. She gets along with other dogs and is very well behaved.

This Halloween, we're checking out a few handsome "mutts" from the area in need of a home.

This new Fairfax-based rescue can be found sometimes with available dogs hanging out at the Burke Post Office on Burke Road. They also run adoptive events out of several locations of Weber's Pet Supermarket and Pro Feed, Inc. in Vienna and foster animals throughout the Washington, DC Metro area.

Potential adoptive families go through an interview process and a home visit before a dog is placed. The adoptive fee is $250 for adult dogs and $300 for puppies under 6 months.
