Police: Man Charged with Domestic Assault

The following items are from recent police updates through Nov. 20 from the Sully, Franconia and West Springfield police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Assault (blue on map), 8400 block of Yellow Leaf Court, 11/18/12, 9 p.m. Officers were called to a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that George Estasy, 35, of Maryland, allegedly hit his girlfriend and hindered other family members from calling the police. He was charged with domestic assault and obstructing the calling of police/fire. No one was seriously injured.
