I wonder if he'll spin the story of how he grew up a poor white boy in factory town Janesville. And if it wasn't for his deceased dad's social security benefits he would've never been able to attend college. With the family's million dollar construction business and his dad a federal lawyer, I'm sure there were a few dollars around to help with his education. And if money's so tight, why did he go to an out of state school with UW-Madison right up the road and Beloit College, right down the road? Bad grades? As an ex-Wisconsinite, I know there are a number of good schools with in the state. Since Ryan's a devout Catholic, why not Marquette? Even Scott Walker attempted Marquette. And the only private sector job Ryan's ever had is driving the weinermobile.

Gee, no, I think he'll stay with trying to help the whole country by being one of the only politician on either side willing to come up with a plan to save our next generation. It may not be perfect, but it shows he is willing to lead and address the real crisis of entitlements insolvency. I dont know you, but hope that you may give him a fair shake and listen to the ideas and judge for yourself without allowing distraction and allowing a class warfare / set station in life / vilification of the succesfull mentality corrupt your ability to think for yourself. Respectfully

Re: Bill Meade,
As I said in my previous post, I'm from Wisconsin and know how deceitful Ryan is. Talking about ideas and what one actually does and how one acts are two different things.

Ms smith, what is your complaint? That Paul Ryan was born into a family legacy that worked hard to build a business? That he went to a school he chose? That he was willing to do any job to help with the family expenses? That he is a devout Catholic?
Or maybe because he loves America .

Ryan was born into a millionaire family but had no qualms using the social security death benefits to pay for college. Sure, he was eligible to do so, but he didn't need the money. He always tries to come across as this blue collar product of Craig H.S. in Janesville. Driving the weinermobile for OM fit him to a T. And I love how as he was bad-mouthing the Stimulus plan, he was actively going after stimulus money for two energy companies in my home state.

Here we go again......which candidate "loves America" more...I'm pretty sure they all do, especially to put themselves and their families through today's campaign scrutiny.

I am so glad Romney chose Paul Ryan as his running mate and thereby, according to Virginia's own Larry Sabato, pulled the 2012 discourse onto an adult plane. Our country is in terrible, terrible trouble and at now at least one party wants to talk truthfully and responsibly about long term solutions rather than kicking the can down the road yet again and pandering to every special interest group in the nation. I feel very relieved. I am ready to get on with my life and pursue a career instead of being a CENGA (College Educated Not Going Anywhere). Terminology by a pollster, Zogby, I think. Mr. Obama has had his shot. He failed at everything but dividing the country. Time for a change. RomneyRyan 2012.

Ms Smith

Ryan is so deceitful that 68% of his district voted for him in the last election despite it being a primarily democrat district. You being from Wisconsin obviously know that
