The West Springfield Police District Station reported the following crimes in December, through the week of Dec. 19, 2011.

Burglary: A home in the 9300 block of Burke Road was burglarized between 9 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8. An investigation determined entry was forced through an interior garage door, but the exterior garage door was unlocked. Money and jewelry appeared to be missing.

Graffiti/Bias Incident: Police located graffiti containing a racial slur spray-painted on the exterior of White Oaks Elementary School at 6130 Shiplett Boulevard around 3:51 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11.

• Little River Turnpike (7600): Wallet stolen from business
• Middle Ruddings Drive (8300): Video game system stolen from residence
• Rolling Road (6100): Laptop computer stolen from residence
• Tralee Woods Court (7500): Wallet stolen from residence
• Western Street (4700): Purse stolen from business
