This should still be up on the front page of the site - it's shameful that I had to go digging for it. If you don't know to look for it, how the heck will people see it. Isn't the point of this - to spread the awareness to help with possilby finding him??

C. Ford....what is really shameful is the police going into the Glenn's kitchen last night to get the doughnut box (evidence) from their kitchen counter. The car should have been immediately impounded and the box, wrappers and evidence should have been in it not touched by others. Yes, I agree this kid like all kids has value and in our Fairfax community should be front and center for all of us until he is brought home. It really makes me wonder how many other kids have gone unnoticed and were presumed runaway based on age and not history.

That just scares me so much that those items where not collected. This is our community and this could have happened to any family here.

Like many others this is why I bothered to rant on every online newspaper and website that carried Bryan's story after meeting Bryan's dad Wednesday night and hearing about the lack of effort put forth. My hope is we (police, private I or community) find Bryan and that our police department make some sweeping changes in their view of police work, missing 17y.o and runaways (which while I don't think Bryan is a runaway shouldn't we still be looking for them).

Why is this information not disseminated through the Washington Post and other local newspapers? He could be anywhere within the metro area, not just Fairfax area. Where was his backpack? Having it in the car versis taking it with him could dispell two different messages. No witnesses in the parking lot at the school or Dunkin Donuts? Any other kids missing from school since Monday? Any connections between him and the girl missing from Stafford on Sunday?

I don't know him but as a mother of 2 woodson teens I can imagine the desperation of this family, let's push until something happens. Together we can make a difference!!!

With all the traffic and suveillance cameras in the area, why can't the city look at all the videos and track the movement of his car?

First, I'm praying for this family. It's so awful. With a 17 year old at FHS myself, it's frightening and heartbreaking. I don't even understand why it took volunteers to find Bryan a week later. And how can the police say it's unusual, but not suspicious? When cars a pulled over in the city, you often see two cruisers at a scene. They can put extra officers for speeders, etc. It bothers me that they didn't find him earlier. Perhaps his life could have been saved.
