Customers of the Bike Lane in Burke rode the store's inventory to its new location at Sunday, creating a parade of bikes down Old Keene Mill Road.
Police were on hand to escort the riders. A few bicyclists were in costume, wearing gorilla and pink bunny suits, though the majority wore standard bicycle gear.
Owners Todd and Anne Mader opened their first location 10 years ago, and will be continuing their family friendly focus as a one-stop bike shop in this new store. The new location, at 8416 Old Keene Mill Road, will open Tuesday, May 31.
