 5 pm\nUSTA QuickStart Tennis is an exciting new play format for learning
  tennis\, designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized 
 equipment\, shorter court dimensions\, all tailored to age and size.\nFU
 TURE STARS&nbsp\; (ages 8+) M&amp\;W 4:30-5:30pm\nThis program will conc
 entrate on the basic skills of tennis as well as coordination and footwo
 rk skills.&nbsp\; The aim is to\ndevelop their skills\, teach them scori
 ng\, etc. so that they may play in matches when they are ready. They wil
 l be divided into age and skill level groups as appropriate.\nJUNIOR STA
 RS** T&amp\;Th 4:30-5:30pm\nThese kids will continue to build on the bas
 ic strokes of tennis at the intermediate level.&nbsp\; They will drill o
 n the fundamentals to develop consistency and control.&nbsp\; Emphasis o
 n footwork also. They will be taught the strategies of singles and doubl
 es so they can participate in league team matches where appropriate.&nbs
 p\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\nJUNIOR PERFORMANCE** M\,T &amp\; Th 3:00-4:30pm\nThes
 e players goals are to compete in Junior Team Tennis\, tournaments\, and
 /or high school tennis. They will focus on solidifying their basic strok
 es.&nbsp\; Emphasis on footwork drills\, point building\, and match stra
 tegies for singles and doubles.\n&nbsp\;\n**These levels may participate
  in NVTL (Wednesday mornings) league matches.&nbsp\;\nCoaches may reassi
 gn players according to ability levels.\nTEAM DIRECTOR\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&n
 bsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Paul Fishe
 r has been directing the Burke Centre Junior Team program since 1989.&nb
 sp\; During that period\, many of the juniors have gone on to success at
  numerous local high schools and eventually\, colleges.&nbsp\; Many othe
 rs have learned to enjoy the game of tennis\, &ldquo\;the sport of a lif
 etime&rdquo\;.&nbsp\; He also is the Head Coach of the Robinson Tennis P
 rogram\, coaching both Boys and Girls Teams to 23 district titles\, 8 re
 gional championships and state championships in 2006\, 2007\, &amp\; 200
 8.&nbsp\; In addition\, the 2001 Boys team went to the Virginia State fi
 nals.&nbsp\; Also\, a number of Robinson players have captured both the 
 VHSL singles and doubles crowns.&nbsp\; In addition\, he was presented t
 he Jim Vierdieck Award by the Professional Tennis Registry\, the world&r
 squo\;s largest organization of tennis pros and coaches\, as the Nationa
 l High School Tennis Coach of the Year in 2007.&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &
 nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nb
