DESCRIPTION:Systematic Training for Effective Parenting of Teens (STEP-Te
 en)  is  being offered by the Lake Braddock/West Springfield Community  
 Coalition  on Thursdays\, Feb. 23\, March 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, at Lake Brad
 dock  Secondary School.\nConsisting of five classes\, the program will h
 elp parents:\n\nUnderstand their teen\;\nCommunicate with respect and en
 couragement\; \nEncourage  cooperation and problem solving\; \nUse conse
 quences and build  responsibility\; \nHelp their teen make good decision
 s.\n\nTracey Butler Johnson\, Lake Braddock's middle school counselor\, 
  will lead the sessions.  She strongly encourages attendance at all five
   sessions.\nThe $45 per person or couple registration fee includes one 
 STEP   Parent Handbook. &nbsp\; Pre-registration is required. &nbsp\;To
