Sikh Foundation of Virginia located at Ox Road organized annual cultural program. The purpose of the program is to promote cultural connectivity among our kids and youth, and to bring awareness about Punjabi culture in our extended Americam community. In this event, there are more than 100 participants. The youngest dance group is of 4-6 years old. It is a great fun event where you can enjoy yummy Indian food, vibrant dances, and hilarious comedy. The ticket is $10.00. Come and support our young performers.

West Springfield High School emphasizes teaching the whole child, from mind to body to creativity. As part of that philosophy, the school features a variety of special programs, including an applied history course that allows students to intern at historical sites in the area. Each senior is required to complete a capstone project, which combines service learning with a research paper. The school also serves as a hub of the community, with activities taking place on its back turf field nearly every night year-round.
