Burke Massage Envy Spa Honors 2013 Sales Associate of the Year

Massage Envy Burke Sales Associate (SA), Jonas Whatley, has recently been recognized as the 2012 Massage Envy Sales Associate of the Year. Whatley was selected from a pool of over 850 nominees for his exemplary leadership skills and guest service. He was honored for his efforts at the national massage chain’s Annual Franchisee Conference in Arizona.

Whatley, an Iraqi war veteran and a resident of Burke, has served as a SA in the Burke location for over 15 months and was recently promoted to Lead Trainer for the Burke Clinic. Throughout his tenure at Massage Envy he has continuously demonstrated himself as a leader among the clinic’s 12 SAs and staff.

“Jonas excels as a leader and team player,” said Henry Kim, Massage Envy Burke Franchisee. “He continually provides excellent service to our guests and members and serves as a role model for all of our SAs. He continuously maintains over a 30% closing rate and it is clear his hard work influences other SAs at the clinic. I can’t think of anyone more deserving and I thank the awards committee for recognizing his contributions to the brand. “

You can tell that he really enjoys his job which elevates the experience for everyone who visits our clinic.”

In order to be considered for the award Whatley had to be nominated by the clinic’s franchisee and fit criteria outlined by the Corporate Awards Committee. The criteria includes employment at a Massage Envy clinic for more than six months, a sales closing rate at 30% or better, gift card sales at or above store average as well as completion of all training modules. The committee reviewed over 850 nominations from clinics across the country and selected one national winner.
