Residents interested in hearing from Fairfax County staff and learning more about the FY 2014 Advertised Budget Plan are invited to participate in a community presentation by the Braddock District Council (BDC) Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kings Park Library Meeting Room.
Christina Jackson and Joe Lahait from the Fairfax County Department of Management and Budget will speak at the meeting and discuss "the current financial stress of the County and the reasoning behind how the budget was developed", according to an agenda posted on the BDC website.
In addition to the budget, the Jackson and Lahait will discuss "several high cost items such as schools, real estate taxes, and transportation".
