The Burke Centre Festival may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop celebrating all-things Burke. Residents will have an opportunity to learn some of the history behind the community during “Burke History Day” Saturday.
There will be a variety of exhibits and presentations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family-friendly event is hosted by the Burke Historical Society (BHS).
Did you know: Burke has an unofficial museum in Rudy Shields' State Farm office on Old Burke Lake Rd?
The free event will be held in conjunction with the Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (BVFD)’s Annual Open House. Both events will take place at the BVFD, located at 9501 Old Burke Lake Rd.
