Cub Scout Pack 1965 Hosts Annual Pinewood Derby
The Burke cub scouts each built the cars used to compete in the annual event.
Forty-five cub scouts participated in Cub Scout Pack 1965's annual Pinewood Derby last Friday at Kings Glen Elementary School.
The scouts, who are all in grades first through fifth grade, designed and built his own car and competed by den. In addition to the Scouts, siblings and adults participated in the races.

First place winners were chosen in five divisions. The winners advance to the district-wide races on Saturday, March 2, in Fairfax. They are:
