1. The Trials of Galileo

2. National Capital Cake Show

Where/When: Northern Virginia Community College- Ernst Center, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale/Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, March 27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Why Go: This is the largest most prestigious cake show on the east coast. There will be spectacular cake displays, demonstrations and live cake challenges.

3. Workshop: New Trends in Floral Design

Where/When: Northern Virginia Community College, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale/Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m.

4. Japanese Tea Tasting Party
