2. Kix (band)

Where/When: Jaxx Nightclub - 6355 Rolling Road, Springfield/Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m.
Why Go:
Kix is an American hard rock/heavy metal band that became popular in the late 1980’s with hits like “Love at First Sight” and “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah”. Since this band is originally from Maryland they have added a second show to accommodate all of their fans. This show is 21 and up.

3. Jimmy Lange vs. Jimmy “The Fighting School Teacher” Holmes

Where/When: George Mason University- Patriot Center, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax/Saturday, March 12, 7 p.m.
Why Go:
 This is the biggest boxing show in the Washington DC area. In addition to the title fight Fairfax native and undefeated welterweight Todd “White Lightning” Wilson will take a break from biz development at Booz Allen Hamilton to square off in the ring on Saturday.

5. The Red Chord
