1. Bedtime Stories: Irish Lullabies

Why Go:
Your kids will love singing Irish folk songs and listening to tales of Ireland. This event is for children ages 3-6 and their parents, registration is not necessary.

2. “Little Red Riding Hood & the Power Mutants”

Why Go:
The whole family will enjoy this play’s silly take on a classic fairytale. Little Red is on a mission to bring a basket of goodies to her grandma. Meanwhile, Oswald, the Big Bad Wolf is teaching a class to young wolves on how to steal goodies. Thankfully Little Red has the help of a mysterious group of mutant superheros to help her complete her mission.

3. Arts and Crafts Fair

Where/When: Garfield Elementary School, 7101 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield/Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Why Go:
Kids will enjoy making their own crafts while you browse over 65 different vendors selling their handmade crafts.

4. Kid’s Day Out

Where/When: Robinson Theatre, 5035 Sideburn Road, Fairfax/Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Why Go:
Your budding actors and little drama queens will love playing theatre games and honing their improv skills with the member of the Rambunctious Theatre company. All proceeds go to help the Robinson drama club pay for their trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.

5. Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

Where/When: Hidden Oaks Nature Center, 7701 Royce Street, Annandale/Sunday, March 20, 1:30 p.m.-2:45 p.m.
Why Go:
The Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland is hosting a tea party. This event is for children over 5 and their parents.
