Photos: Braddock Supervisor Cook and Local Officials at Fairfax City Independence Day Parade

Thousands of residents visited Old Town in Fairfax City Thursday for the annual Independence Day Parade.

Local officials such as Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-11th), Braddock District Supervisor John Cook, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova, Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity, Sen. Chap Petersen (D-34th), and Providence District Supervisor Linda Smyth participated in the parade.

The parade also included floats and marching bands from local schools in the area.
