Cook, Residents Mingle at Annual Taste of Braddock

Residents enjoyed food prepared by local high school students and restaurants at Braddock District Supervisor John Cook's annual open house event Wednesday.

Burke and Braddock District residents crowded into rooms in the Kings Park Library Wednesday night for the annual Taste of Braddock.

Hosted by Braddock District Supervisor John Cook, the open house event had a line going around the library building by the time the event kicked off at 5:30 p.m. and was standing-room only for much of the night.

Cook's staff estimated more than 400 residents attended the event this year, the highest turnout in years.
