Where to Buy a Christmas Tree in Burke This Weekend

Still haven't picked out the perfect tree yet? Find out where the local vendors are selling Christmas trees this holiday season.

If you were too busy recovering from Thanksgiving to pick out your Christmas tree last weekend, don't worry: there's still plenty of time to pick one and plenty of local vendors to choose from.

Here's a short list of places in Burke and in nearby Springfield  where you can find the perfect tree for your home this season.

Burke Nursery & Garden Centre: The Burke Nursery & Garden Centre is selling a variety of Christmas trees that vary in price by height and type. The store is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Residents can also purchase wreaths, poinsettias and other holiday fare.
Burke Town Plaza Tree Lot: This premium tree lot is in the parking lot of the Burke Town Plaza, located at the intersection of Old Keene Mill Road and Lee Chapel Road. Trees vary in price from $36.95 on up for 10-11-feet footers, to as much as $74.95 and higher for taller trees. The lot is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. The lot will be open every day up until Christmas Eve on Dec. 24.

Clifton Lions Club Tree Sale: The Clifton Lions Club is selling Christmas trees in the parking lot of St Peters in the Woods Episcopal Church, located at 5911 Fairview Woods Dr. in Fairfax Station. Trees are $70, and 100 percent of all money collected goes to charity. The sale is open all day Saturdays and Sundays and from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
