8th ANNUAL RALLY FOR ALLY!

Rally for Ally is an annual fund-raiser hosted by Ashli Matus George and Tom George, and the Matus and Kelso families to raise awareness and funds for the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED).  It is a family-friendly, casual, outdoor gathering filled with fun, games, food, raffle and silent auction.  Our goal is $25,000 this year...

Proceeds from the Rally are Being raised on behalf of the NFED that provides a support network of families, publications, conferences, scholarships, treatment fund and research.  The NFED is the only organization dedicated to serving individuals affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia syndromes and does not receive federal funding.  The syndromes are the result of a genetic mutation passed from parent to child.  Often, the gentic mutation occurs spontaneously in the affected person where 7 in 10,000 individuals are affected by these rare conditions.  This event honors ALLYSON KELSO, born in 2004, with Ectrodactyly Ectodermal Dysplasia Clefting Syndrome, causing the hair, nails, teeth and glands to develop and function abnormally, and in Ally's case, visual impairment.
