Send in your Best of Braddock Award Nominations

Time is running out to nominate someone you know for the Best of Braddock Awards!

The BoB Awards, a joint effort of the Braddock District Council of Community Associations and Braddock District Supervisor, recognizes citizens, organizations and businesses of the Braddock District whose excellent performance or contributions to the welfare, beauty or strength of Braddock District deserve special recognition. 

Categories include: Braddock District Citizen of the Year; Braddock District Young Person of the Year; Neighborhood Enhancement by an Individual Homeowner or Community Association; Commercial Beautification or Clean-up in the Braddock District; Most "Can-Do" Public Employee working on Issues in the Braddock District or with Braddock Residents; Most Outstanding Business Person in the Braddock District; Club or Organization Making a Difference in the Braddock District. An award is also given for Special Personal Achievement.

The deadline for nomination is May 31, 2011.  Nominations can either be sent to the Braddock District office at Braddock@fairfaxcounty.gov with Best of Braddock in the subject line, or they can be dropped off at the office.  Nomination forms may be found at http://www.bdcfx.org/home/announcements-and-events.
