Burke Hosts Virginia Lily Show

The Garden Club of Virginia brings its annual show to Burke this week.

The Garden Club of Virginia holds its 70th Annual Lily Show Wednesday and Thursday at in Burke.

Considered by gardeners to be one of the premier statewide flower shows, it attracts exhibitors from around the Commonwealth.

Titled "Where Past and Present Intersect," the show will feature:

  • Flower arrangements reflecting the history and urban growth of Fairfax County.
  • Hundreds of lily stems.
  • A horticultural section.
  • Educational opportunities.
  • A shopping boutique.

Admission is free.  The show is open to the public on:

  • Wednesday, June 20,  2 - 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 21, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The show is hosted by The Garden Club of Fairfax, assisted by The North American Lily Society.
