Cardinal Forest Plaza Giant Grand Re-Opening

Supervisor Pat Herrity participated in the ribbon cutting at his childhood Giant.

The Cardinal Forest Plaza Giant at 8320 Old Keene Mill Road in Springfield held a grand re-opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Sept. 14.

Fairfax County district Supervisor Pat Herrity was invited to speak, both because the store is in his district and it was his childhood Giant.  "My mother and I went there regularly," he said.

The re-opening of the 49,695 square-foot grocery store revealed improvements to the produce and perishable food departments, new décor, new floors and ceilings and improved lighting.
