Chick-fil-A Celebrates Cow Appreciation Day

Chick-fil-A offers free food on July 13 to customers dressed in a full or partial cow costume.

It's Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day, and the restaurant is giving away free meals at their many area locations, including the Springfield restaurant at 6681a Backlick Road and the food court location at George Mason University.

Customers who come to the restaurant dressed “head-to-hoof" in a cow costume will receive a free meal. Any guests who wear "at least a few spots" will be eligible for a free entree.

The promotion will be ongoing throughout the day, and customers can claim their free meal or entree during breakfast, lunch or dinner.
