Kirk and John Galiani, owners of Onelife Fitness, are natives of McLean who opened their first fitness center in Fairfax in an historic schoolhouse.  It grew to franchises in 46 states and 26 countries, with more than two million members.

They sold their interest in that chain, and now are developing Onelife Fitness, "to inspire greater public participation in regular physical activity."

The one-story retail building comprising Rolling Valley Mall totals 235,000 square feet.  Combined Properties Inc. developed the complex in 1974.
