UPDATE: Phan University of Martial Arts Wins Burke Patch Readers' Choice Award

UPDATE, Friday 6:30 p.m.—Congratulations to for winning the Burke Patch "Readers' Choice" award this week in the "Best Martial Arts" category!

Comments by Patch readers began on Monday and "Phan U" saw both favorable comments (three) and reviews (nine) on its directory listing made by Patch readers by the time the poll closed Friday at 9 a.m. 

Thanks to all readers who participated by commenting on or reviewing their favorite martial arts academies.

The winner will get a framed "Readers' Choice" certificate from Patch, plus bragging rights.
