The Best Cyber Monday Deals

Now that the dust from Black Friday chaos has settled, the bargain hunt shifts from hours at the mall to hours on the Internet for many shoppers. In a down economy, people are becoming increasingly efficient with their online shopping habits. Last year's Cyber Monday statistics were staggering, as online sales tied an all-time high of $887 million according to ComScore. The number of overall buyers grew six percent as well. However, the average dollar amount spent per buyer decreased one percent, totaling $102.19.

According to the latest press release by the National Retail Federation,

• 88.2 percent of retailers will have special promotions on Cyber Monday this year, up from 72.2 percent who did last year.
• 70.1 million people plan to shop online during their lunch hour at work at some point this holiday season.
• CyberMonday.com will feature Deal of the Hour specials on Black Friday and Cyber Monday from more than 700 participating retailers.

Beauty

• Sephora also offers free shipping on purchases over $25 as well as free returns. They also offer three free samples of your choice with anything you order.

Clothing

• One of the best deals you will find on women's clothing is from New York and Company, where for a limited time, everything is 50 percent off.
• The Limited also has some great deals on women's apparel, with 30 percent off everything in stock plus free shipping and a mini bag with every purchase over $75.
• For men, Lord & Taylor is offering 50 percent off all outerwear, topcoats, rainwear and sportwear.
• For kids and teenagers, Old Navy, American Eagle, Hot Topic and JC Penney all have great deals this year.

Computers and Electronics:

• MacMall, an Apple superstore, is having a three-day Cyber Monday sale, which includes up to $400 off Macs.
• Dell is offering free ground shipping on all printers $49 or more and select laptops and desktops $699 or more.
• Best Buy has a deal lasting until New Years Eve, offering $100-$300 off any television $999 and up. 

Home Improvement:

• The Home Depot has a lot of good sales on home appliances this year, including 45 percent off ceiling fans and 50 percent off blinds and paint brushes.
• Target is offering free shipping on all purchases over $50. 

Toys:

• Toys'R'Us offers free shipping on most items $49 and up.
• Mattel Shop has deals on toys up to 60 percent off as well as free shipping.
