Treasured Child Consignment Store Closes
The store, which sold a variety of gently-used items, operated in Burke for about 22 years.
After more than 20 years in Burke, the Treasured Child consignment store has closed.
Treasured Child, which was located at 9411- C Old Burke Lake Rd., closed on Sept. 1 after their lease ended and was purchased by another company, according to a post on their Facebook page.
Prior to closing, Treasured Child sold a variety of gently-used items such as clothing, strollers, toys and more at discounted priced.
The store will be replaced by a new math learning center called Mathnasium. The center specializes tutoring children in grades K-12 in math, homework help and study sessions and creating custom learning plans to increase confidence in math.
There are currently 14 Mathnasium locations in Virginia. Burke would be the 15th location for the company.
