Candlelight Civil War Memorial Sunday

A sesquicentennial remembrance service.

  • Where: Cemetery of St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, Fairfax Station
  • When: Sunday, September 2 at 8 p.m.
  • Why Go: Join the community at a candlelight memorial service in remembrance of the killed and wounded from the Second Battle of Manassas (Bull Run) and Battle of Ox Hill.  They were cared for at this church in 1862 by Clara Barton and other volunteers.
  • Price: FREE
