Learn About Passover Traditions

Links here will provide you with information about Passover, which begins Friday at sundown.

"Passover is one of the most joyous of Jewish holidays," writes Andrew Bender in Forbes.

"Families and friends gather around dining room tables for the seder: a retelling of the exodus in word and song to pass the tradition from generation to generation. Tradition also includes a meal, typically (in America, at least) of chicken soup with matzah balls (dumplings made from matzah meal), gefilte fish (cakes of ground fish) and beef brisket," he says.

Whether Passover is a longstanding tradition in your family, or a holiday completely new to you, we've gathered information for your education and edification.
