Nick Balenger was one of about 600 Lake Braddock Secondary School students to graduate last month. Balenger, a former LBSS pitcher, was paralyzed after suffering a spinal cord injury. He walked almost 50 feet across the stage at graduation to receive his diploma and stunned his classmates.
