Virginia Democratic Primary 2013: How Burke Voted
A look at how candidates fared at Burke precincts.
Virginians selected State Sen. Ralph Northam (D-Norfolk) as their pick for lieutenant governor and Sen. Mark Herring for attorney general during the Democratic Primary Election Tuesday.
The senators will join gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe on the Democratic ticket in November.
In the Burke-area, Northam won 13 out of 15 precincts while Aneesh Chopra, his opponent, won only two precincts. However, voter turnout on Tuesday was slow and neither candidate reached 100 total votes.

Herring won 10 out of 15 precincts over Fairfax, who won five precincts.
