The 73rd Annual WNC Flower Mart

Annual outdoor festival with activities for the entire family.

The Washington National Cathedral (WNC) presents its 73rd annual Flower Mart Friday, May 4, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 5, 10 a.m - 5 p.m.

The outdoor spring festival features plant sales, floral and horticultural displays, boutique booths, tasty foods, music and entertainment, and activities for children, including rides on the antique wooden carousel from the 1890s. Proceeds benefit the Cathedral’s gardens, grounds and woodlands. Admission is free, and the event is held rain or shine.

Tower climbs — offered only a few times during the year — will be available on Saturday, May 5, from 10 am to 3:30 pm (except noon) every half hour. The 333 steps lead visitors to the heights of the bell ringing chamber in the cathedral's great central tower, 300 feet above ground. Tickets for the tower climb are $10 per person, and available on Saturday onsite only.
