Candidate Chris DeCarlo Releases Rap Against Corruption in Fairfax County

Independent candidate for the 41st District and Office of the Fairfax County Sheriff wants to give the power back to the people, according to his new rap song.

Christopher DeCarlo, who is running as an independent candidate for two Northern Virginia government offices, wants to fight corruption in Fairfax County and he's using rap as a way to spread his message.

DeCarlo is running as an independent candidate for the 41st District in the House of Delegates and the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office. In the video of above, DeCarlo unveiled his latest rap when he introduced himself to a crowd of about 50 people at a Braddock District Candidates Forum in Burke Monday night.

Fairfax County residents may remember DeCarlo when he ran for chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 2011 or as an 11th District Congressional candidate in 2010.

DeCarlo plans to release a "western themed rap video titled 'Democracy, DeCarlo and the Constitution' about fighting corruption" on Oct. 3, according to his website.
