4th Annual Santa's Secret Workshop
Benefiting survivors of domestic and sexual violence as well as families in need
This popular event is designed to allow survivor's children and local families in need to shop for the perfect gifts for their families, extended families, and even pets at no cost to them.
The Workshop is a "No Parents Allowed” zone, kids will be assisted by volunteer Elves to help them pick gifts for everyone on their shopping list. The Workshop shelves are stocked with donated items, or items purchased with donated funds. Gift-wrapping Elves handle each gift with care so the kids leave with huge smiles knowing Christmas morning is going to be so exciting. Santa himself will be on hand for private discussions with children about their own holiday wish lists and to pose for pictures. We will be holding a silent auction for the parents in the waiting area while they sip on hot chocolate and nibble on holiday cookies. A special craft section for personal holiday cards, cards for soldiers and christmas lists Santa will take back to the north pole personally.
The Duffy House is in need of donations to stock the Workshop shelves, and special "Spree Sponsorship’s" are available for $50 and allow a child to "purchase" gifts for every member of their family, regardless of number. Monetary donations of any amount are welcome and appreciated. Families with the ability to pay can register online or donate at the link below:
