Ash Wednesday: Drive Thru Ashes

A visible witness of Christ in your life!

Drive-Thru ashes are offered from 5:30-7:30AM by simply pulling through the circle in front of the church. 

Walk-Thru ashes are offered in the church entryway from 10-10:30AM.

The Ash Wednesday worship service is at 7:30PM.

Ash Wednesday is a great tradition in Christian faith. In marking the beginning of Lent, the sign of ashes on our foreheads speaks quietly about the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ. That is the meaning of the cross. 

We remind the world in a gentle way Whose we are and Who we belong to. And since ashes are a reminder that no one lives forever – “ashes to ashes, dust to dust” – we’re called to use our time on earth wisely. We’re called to love, to serve, to bless, to heal.

We’re making a public statement of our priorities;

we’re honoring God’s name,

and we’re living our faith in a unique way today.
