Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. 

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. When she falls in love with Prince Eric after saving him from a shipwreck, she visits the sea witch, Ursula, and trades her voice for three days as a human. Can Ariel and her best friends Flounder, Sebastian the Crab, and Scuttle the Sea Gull get the prince to give her "true love's first kiss" before Ariel turns back into a mermaid forever?

Adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. features the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She’s in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea." With a cast of 59 actors age 8-18, this is sure to go down as one of the most exciting live shows to hit our stage.

Northern Virginia Players has been thrilling audiences of all ages since their start. Exceptional talent, costumes, and staging supports professional quality theatre at the community level. In keeping with their tradition of service for those in need, Northern Virginia Players will be donating part of ticket proceeds from the first weekend shows to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Their hearts and prayers go out to those affected. 

Show dates: January 11th at 7:30pm or January 12th at 1:30pm and 7:30pm. January 18th at 7:30pm, or 19th at 1:30pm and 7:30pm. The production will be held at the Family Worship Center (7719 Fullerton Road Springfield, VA 22153).
