Fairfax Symphony Orchestra Presents Chamber Works by Elgar, Britten, and Shostakovich

The
Fairfax Symphony presents its debut performance in George Mason University’s
Harris Theatre in Fairfax.  The program
highlights two works by Benjamin Britten in the 100th Anniversary
season of his birth.  Featured artists
include tenor, William Hite, and the FSO’s own principal horn, Eric Moore.  The performance includes a symphony by
Britten’s friend and artistic kindred spirit, Shostakovich, and Elgar’s
