NOVA-Annandale to host Watershed Workshop
What
The Annandale Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will be hosting a Watershed Workshop on Oct. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Ernst Community Cultural Center (CE Forum). Experts from a variety of disciplines will be discussing the state of watershed development in our area, governmental policies and programs, educational programs, research and science, landscaping, and how citizens can get involved.
In addition, there will be tours of rain gardens as well as rain barrel demonstrations and sales throughout the day. This workshop is free and open to the public. More information can be found at: http://www.nvcc.edu/home/kbushaw/NOVAWshed13FlyG.pdf
