On a recent Sunday afternoon, Fairfax CASA paid thanks to its generous sponsors and donors with a wine tasting event. Guests at the gathering enjoyed a sampling of Spanish wines and first rate tapas at The Wine House in Fairfax City.
The wine tasting allowed Fairfax CASA Executive Director Lisa Banks to acknowledge the important role of the program's major donors in the ultimate success of Fairfax CASA's volunteers as they advocate for abused and neglected children under the court's protection. Lisa noted that Fairfax CASA is fortunate to have so many corproate sponsors, Board members, and CASA volunteers past and present who believe in the power of one individual to improve the life of a vulnerable child.
