Volunteers with Time and Heart

In this radio interview, Executive Director Lisa Banks discusses why CASA volunteers need a big heart for children.

Earlier this month, Fairfax CASA Executive Director Lisa Banks had the opportunity to talk with Sheila Stewart, News and Community Affairs Director for Majic 102.3, about the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and the most important qualities found in CASA volunteers.

The bottom line? “You have to really have the time to devote to this work – and the heart.”

If you have the time and the heart to help an abused or neglected child, listen to the complete interview and find out why the CASA program is such a gratifying volunteer option.
