Greenspring Names Tamika Mitchell Director of Human Resources

Greenspring, an Erickson Living retirement community in Springfield, Va., recently named Tamika Mitchell as the new Director of Human Resources.

Tamika Mitchell was recently named the new Director of Human Resources at , an Erickson Living retirement community in Springfield, Va.

Mitchell was a Senior Human Resources Manager at Greenspring from 2006-2010.  Since then, she has worked as the Director of Human Resources for Wind Crest, Greenspring’s sister community located in Denver, Co.  Mitchell also has prior work experience at IKON Office Solutions, Primedia and The Clayton Group. 

As the Director of Human Resources, Mitchell will be responsible for the management and delivery of human resources programs and services to support the nearly 1,000 employees at Greenspring.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tamika back to Greenspring,” said Robin Gliboff, Greenspring’s Executive Director.  “Tamika brings to Greenspring a wealth of talent in human resources, recruitment and strategic planning.”

Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Management from Southern Connecticut State University, and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Bridgeport.  She is currently working toward completing her Master of Business Administration degree from Trinity University.
