State Senator Mark Obenshain Visits Greenspring

Invited by the Greenspring Republican Club, Sen. Mark Obenshain visited Greenspring retirement community on November 1.

Invited by the Greenspring Republican Club, State Senator Mark Obenshain visited on Tuesday, November 1.  Sen. Obenshain represents District 26, which includes the City of Harrisonburg and the counties of Shenandoah, Page, Warren, Rappahannock, and part of Rockingham.

This stop at Greenspring is part of Sen. Obenshain's rally to support a conservative majority in the Senate of Virginia, according to his website. 

Greenspring has been visited on a number of occasions during this election season by the current State Senator representing Greenspring, George Barker, and his challenger, Miller Baker.  Most recently, on October 4, the resident Democratic and Republican clubs co-sponsored a between Sen. George Barker and Miller Baker, which was moderated by NewsChannel 8's, Bruce DePuyt.
